Very much so. Create groups, add shared expenses, choose how to split them, and see who owes whom. The math does the serious work. The optional sarcasm makes the rest a little more human.
Can I turn the sarcasm down? My flatmate is sensitive.
Absolutely. Choose Professional, Mild, Spicy, Savage, or Chaos. Sarcasm is opt-in, and groups can use Roast-free mode. Sensitive expenses and important account updates stay neutral. The joke changes; the amount and payment status don’t.
Is it free, or is there a plot twist?
Hissaa is currently offered without a subscription fee. You can split expenses and keep your groups organised without paying for a plan. If paid features arrive later, their pricing will be shown before you choose to buy anything.
What if we didn’t all spend the same amount?
Use equal splits, exact amounts, percentages, or shares. So the person who ordered a salad doesn’t have to subsidise someone else’s three-course character development.
Does Hissaa move money for me?
No. Hissaa records expenses and helps coordinate settlements. You pay through your payment app or another method you agree on, then record the settlement. Opening a payment app doesn’t automatically mark a balance as paid.
Can I bring my existing Splitwise expenses?
Yes. Hissaa includes a Splitwise import flow so you can bring over your exported expense history. Review your import before completing it. Old balances, fresh start, same friends.
