A request you can make without the app

Delete your Hissaa account.

You can delete your account inside Hissaa or request deletion by email if you no longer have access to the app. Account deletion is permanent.

Request account deletion

Send the request from the email address registered to your Hissaa account so the team can verify ownership.

Delete inside the app

Sign in, open the Account tab, choose Delete account, type DELETE and confirm. Hissaa may ask you to sign in again before completing a sensitive request.

What is deleted

  • Your profile, authentication account and saved preferences.
  • Friend connections, comments, notification records and device push tokens.
  • Your protected payment identifier and expenses you created.
  • Groups that have no other account members.

Shared records

A group with other account members is transferred so their shared ledger remains usable. Your participation in shared records that must remain for the other members is anonymized as “Deleted member.”

What happens next

Email requests are verified before deletion to protect accounts from unauthorized requests. The team will confirm receipt, ask only for information needed to verify ownership and notify you when deletion is complete.
