THE MOVING-IN CHECKLIST
Three steps.
No starting over.
Have your group export handy. Your original Splitwise group stays where it is.

Pack up the old ledger.
Export your group as a spreadsheet from Splitwise and save the CSV file. Use one group export at a time, up to 10 MB.

Introduce your people.
Open the Hissaa importer and choose your CSV. Select a new or existing group, then match every participant to yourself, a member, a friend, or a guest.

Check it. Then bring it home.
Review dates, amounts, participant mappings, and selected rows. Possible duplicates in an existing group are excluded by default. Import one currency per group.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
A move, not a live connection.
Attachments, comments, and ongoing updates aren’t synced from Splitwise. Review skipped rows and import each currency into its own group. Hissaa is independent of Splitwise.
