Getting started
Create an account, start a group for your trip, home or dinner, and add your people. Add an expense, select who paid and choose an equal split, exact amounts, percentages or shares. Check the details before saving.
Importing from Splitwise
Export a group as a CSV from Splitwise. In Hissaa, open Account → Import data → Splitwise and select the file, up to 10 MB. Choose a new or existing group, match every participant and review the selected rows. Use a separate group for each currency. Possible duplicate rows in an existing group are excluded by default.
If a file is rejected, check that it is a group CSV with Date, Description, Category, Cost, Currency and participant columns. Export a fresh copy rather than changing balances in a spreadsheet. Never send someone else’s expense history to support without their permission.
Balances and settlements
Check the expense currency, who paid and the participant split if a balance looks wrong. Hissaa records shared expenses and settlements; it does not transfer money. Opening a UPI app does not confirm a payment. Check the payment in your chosen app, then record the settlement in Hissaa. Contact your payment provider for a failed or incorrect transfer.
Sign-in and account access
Use the same sign-in method you used when creating your account. If you requested an email link, check spam and use the most recent link. For a session error, sign out and sign back in. If you are still unable to access your account, email support with the account email and the error message; never send your password or a one-time code.
Receipts, voice and notifications
Receipt scanning is available on mobile; Siri expense drafts require a supported iPhone. Review drafts before saving. Check Hissaa’s permissions in device settings if the camera or notifications are unavailable. For less humour, choose Professional or enable Roast-free mode for the group.
Account deletion
Open Hissaa, go to Account, choose Delete account, type DELETE and confirm. If your authentication session is old, sign out and back in before retrying. If you cannot access the app, use the public account-deletion request page or email support from the address registered to your account.
Privacy
Read the Hissaa Privacy Policy for details about information, permissions, retention and deletion.
Response details
Support replies are handled by email. Include your app version, phone model and the last action you took before the problem when those details are available.
Report abuse or a security concern
Email feneelp@gmail.com with the group or feature involved and a description of the concern. Include only the information needed to understand it. For a security report, describe how to reproduce the issue without accessing another person’s account or exposing their data.
